Sadan first saw Tamara Rojo in 1997 dancing in the ensemble of the "Victor Ullate's Ballet De
Madrid" at the City Center Theatre in New York City. He was enchanted by her presence, went to every
performance she was in and met her beginning a life long friendship.
Within two years she went from Spain to the Scottish National Ballet to the English National Ballet and
on October 11th appeared for the first time in the role of Odette/Odile of Swan Lake at a Matine performance in
the Palace Theatre of Manchester, England.

At the completion of her performance there was a moment of stunned
silence and then cheers. Within two months she became the principal dancer of the English National Ballet and has
since joined the Royal Ballet in the same capacity. She is also busy as a featured guest artist with leading
dance companies throughout the world.
